Lambeth Connexions (Connexions Personal Advisers)
What is a PA?
Connexions Personal Advisers are working with young people aged 13–19 years around the Borough. They can also help you if you are up to 25 years with a disability or learning difficulty.
Connexions can help and advise young people, including one to one advice sessions on careers, bullying, housing, employment and training.
You can book an appointment or attend a drop-in session at youth centres and youth access points. Ask your activity organiser how to contact a Connexions Personal Adviser.
A Personal Adviser, (or PA) is professionally trained to help you fulfil your potential by advising and supporting you, but most importantly they are there to listen to you. Whatever your needs, PAs will be able to put you on the right track.
Why do I need a PA?
There are many times between the ages of 13–19 years when you will experience change and need to make decisions. PAs are there to make sure you always have someone to turn to; so get to know your PA!
What can PAs help with?
PAs can help with education, employment, training, personal development, leisure, health, relationships, sexuality, housing, legal issues, money matters and benefits. PAs are part of a support network of organisations that can offer information and advice plus practical support, and help you find solutions.
