Andrew Short, Lambeth's Member of Youth Parliament, took part in a Question Time-style event today as part of the Launch of the Young Peoples' Workforce Reform Programme.

The event, which was held at the Queen Elizabeth Hall on London's South Bank, was attended by over 150 professionals involved in working with young people - including Rt Hon Dawn Primalo MP, the Minister of State for Children, Young People and Families.

Event organiser Diedre Quill, said "[Andrew's] input to the panel was a real highlight of the day.  [He] helped explore some of the issues around the reform programme from a young person's perspective and acted as an important reminder for why so many people had travelled so far to come together.  [He was] an excellent advoctae for our country's young people - enthusiastic, friendly, intelligent and articulate".
