Sara (Deputy Lambeth Youth Mayor 2010)

I’m 16 years old and I go to Lambeth Academy. I am a popular member of the school community. I’ve been elected as a member of the school council, and I was made a prefect. As a member of the school council I have had meetings with the governors to represent the views of my fellow students and improve health and safety around the school.

I am currently at college studying history, French, maths, English literature and Arabic. I am a passionate, ambitious and hardworking student. My role model is my mum because she’s the one that taught me to be myself.

Daniel (Lambeth Deputy Member of Youth Parliament 2010)

I am in year nine and I go to Archbishop Tenison’s School. I am aiming to become a member of the youth parliament, as I believe there are certain problems that effect young people which have been ignored. If these problems are not tackled, the reputation of our generation will deteriorate at a high cost.
